You have been on the set of a few productions and notice all the paperwork flying around! What are all those documents and why are they so important to the production? Gayle Nakamoto will go over some key production documents: deal memos; talent and location releases; schedules; call sheets; explain what they mean; what to watch out for; and how they are essential to the Producer.    

Gayle Nakamoto

Gayle Nakamoto has been working in broadcast television for over 15 years, and more recently moved into digital content business affairs. Her expertise covers budgeting, finance, reviewing license agreements, Canadian Media Fund applications, film and television tax credits and digital media tax credits. She is currently teaching the Production Management course for Algonquin College’s Film and Media program. Nakamoto has line producing credits for over 275 broadcast shows that have aired on HGTV Canada, W Network, OWN, APTN, and Cottage Life, digital media credits for CBC Comedy and the children's website Totally Random.
