Last night, more than 30 BIPOC creatives came together for the 2026 Digi60 BIPOC Summer Social—and what an evening it was.

Filmmakers, emerging creatives, familiar faces and people joining us for the very first time all came together to connect, share stories, make new connections and enjoy a summer evening with the community.

We started the evening outside at Beyond the Pale City Centre, enjoying the patio and the warm weather. The staff were fantastic throughout the evening and incredibly accommodating as our group continued to grow. And grow. And grow.

Eventually, we had to move inside to make room for everyone.

Honestly? We couldn't have asked for a better problem to have.

Among the crowd were several new and emerging filmmakers, along with people who had never attended a Digi60 event before. It was a great reminder that our community continues to grow beyond the people we already know, and that there are always new connections waiting to be made.

There was plenty of conversation, laughter and networking throughout the evening. No formal agenda. No presentations. Just good people coming together.

The Digi60 community showed up.

And we're pretty excited about where that community is headed next.

Thank you to everyone who came out, brought a friend, made a new connection or simply spent part of their evening with us. We hope you had as much fun as we did.

We'll see you at the next one.
