*Digi60’s Statement on AI: At the Digi60 Filmmakers’ Festival, we celebrate the creativity, originality, and vision that filmmakers bring to their work. While we recognize that artificial intelligence is an emerging tool in many industries, our festival is rooted in showcasing films that reflect the artistry and intent of their creators. We encourage filmmakers to rely on their own craft, voice, and collaboration rather than generative AI in the creative production of their films. The heart of filmmaking lies in human imagination, and our goal is to provide a platform for that expression above all else.
You will be working with these items to create your verbal pitch. These items must be submitted in advance by the deadline of November 7, 2025 at midnight.
All selected filmmakers will be notified by November 14th and projects will be announced on November 15th.

December 6, 2025 - PITCHING WORKSHOP
DARC, The Loop
Teri will work directly with 5 screenwriters to hone their story arc and perfect their verbal pitch in a peer environment, preparing them to pitch to a panel of producers on Sunday. Teri draws on her decades of experience as program coordinator and professional screenwriter, leading the Algonquin College Scriptwriting program. This included helping students prepare pitches for film, TV series and documentaries at local events like Pitch Perfect! and Digi60, and Scriptwriting’s annual Toronto Pitching Trip, with broadcasters and producers such as CTV, CBC, eOne and Boat Rocker. She will provide honest, constructive feedback to writers based on industry trends and outlooks, so pitchees can build their pitch effectively. Pitchees will also have the benefit of peer support and constructive peer feedback.
December 7, 2025 - PITCHING & PRODUCER MENTORSHIP PANEL
Club SAW
Pitchees will present their verbal pitch to a panel of producers who will provide feedback and constructive mentorship to round out their project. The Pitchees will also get an opportunity to ask the producers about their process for choosing projects, industry trends, and career advice.
This live pitch is open to the public so as to simulate a real-life live pitch scenario. More than anything, this is an opportunity to practice your pitch and there is no guarantee that a producer will want to option your project, so come with an open mind to learn and receive constructive feedback.
**Panelists will be announced publicly on November 15, 2025.**
