Julie Zhu was the 2017 winner of the SAW Video Female Filmmaker Award. Check out this interview, conducted and edited by Digi60 student intern André Bourbeau, as she talks about her filmmaking experiences as a female filmmaker in Ottawa and at Digi60. The Female Filmmaker Award was created in collaboration with SAW Video to acknowledge, encourage, develop and provide resources to female filmmakers in the Ottawa area.
