DJ Jas Nasty: Jas Nasty is an eclectic vinyl DJ that draws from various genres and influences. Always trying to balance educating with entertaining her listeners, you will surely enjoy the sonic adventure!
Jas began DJ-ing in 2001 via Trent University community Radio in Peterborough. This led to founding Women on Wax MTL in 2005, and involvement in various DJ nights and events from Montreal to Ottawa. Now in Ottawa, she continues to DJ in a variety of venues and fill the airwaves with her love of collecting and sharing good music, old and new. You can hear Jas on CKCU 93.1 FM in Ottawa as one of hosts of The Heavy Friends show 8-10 pm Saturday nights.
