DARC is opening its doors to 60-Day Challenge participants with their “BYOHD” partnership (Bring Your Own Hard Drive), so you can finish strong!
Are you a Registered Filmmaker in the Digi60 60-Day Challenge? The Digital Arts Resource Centre (DARC) is here to help you bring your story to life! DARC is proud to have partnered with the Digi60 Filmmakers’ Festival since 2017 to support filmmakers as they create their works for the 60-Day Challenge & to support a selected filmmaker every year with the DARC Emerging Filmmaker Award.
DARC is opening up its Workshop Room to Digi60 Filmmakers every Tuesday and Thursday from October 21-November 11, 2025 so you can take advantage of DARC’s post-production tools - from DaVinci Resolve to Ableton, RSVP to use one of our 10 computers to help you in your post-production journey.
Whether you’re a first-time filmmaker or a returning Digi60 Registered Filmmakers, DARC’s community and resources are here to help you create your best film yet.
Visit digitalartsresourcecentre.ca to learn more and get started today.
As an artist-run media arts centre, DARC offers access to production equipment, editing suites, and creative support - everything you need to complete your Digi60 film with confidence.
As the Executive Director of DARC, I am very lucky to be part of a great group of passionate staff members at DARC who are here to support our members as they create their films at Digi60.
Become a DARC Member: Membership gives you access to our gear, facilities, and discounts on workshops and rentals. Join here. Make sure you give yourself enough time to process your membership before your shoot days - and double check the perks for each membership tier.
Explore the Equipment Library: From cameras and lenses to lighting and audio gear, you can browse our available tools online. View the library. There is a little bit of everything, but double check what your membership allows you to book.
Use Our Facilities: Book our Digital Editing Suites, Recording Studio, the DARC SOUNDSTAGE and The Loop project spaces to produce, polish, or present your work. You can even test or screen your films at the DARC Microcinema.
