Cheryl Pagurek - Being and Becoming (6:04 mins) Video Art, Dance

Dancer Shara Weaver explores states of being and becoming in Cheryl Pagurek’s interactive installation. Weaver’s sensitive translation of imagery, music, and mood into evocative movement embodies our potential for transformation, while bridging the divide between real and digital realms. We witness the process by which the constituent, separate elements - the space, screen, video, sound, coding, and her body in motion - coalesce to produce something more than the sum of their parts: the creation of a new artwork.

Music by Jesse Stewart.

Charlandjuna Gracieuse - Time, Fate & Life (3:11 mins) Cinepoem

Spoken Word by Charlandjuna

I've been writing poetry and spoken word for about two decades now and I've always had trouble either presenting them or reading my work out loud for others to hear. I have battled with mental health my whole life. This piece loosely pays homage to my struggles as an individual but also sheds light to a brighter future. This piece is very dear to me and has given me the chance to share my vulnerability in a raw and honest way.

Orima Bendisse - Sequenza No. 1 (7:57 mins) Abstract, Animation

Maeve Delia - Spiderweb (2:48 mins) Music Video

“Thought I’d be the one to catch you / Predator becomes the prey”

Are you catching feelings, or are your feelings catching you? In Maeve Delia’s playful and spooky music video for ‘Spiderweb’, she illustrates how the complexity of affection can feel like being tangled in a web. In her frantic attempts to crush the insect that keeps outrunning her, she discovers that — like trying to stomp out emotions — her attempts are futile.

Directed and edited by Maeve Delia. Filmed and colour graded by Rory Creelman.

Mario Desbiens - d’un seul coup (2:31 mins) Cinépoésie

A 2 minutes poetic film
