After watching Gaspar Noe’s ENTER THE VOID, I became very interested in exploring the nature of story and perception through the use of point-of-view. UR X GIRLFRIEND is the first instalment of an ongoing project exploring memory and perception in the age of ones and zeros. Every few weeks, new remixes of the Sara and Jessica story will premiere on our facebook page. Each new remix plays with how technology and temporality – story and solipsism – effect our perceptions of their relationship. At the end of the project, the one ‘true’ version (through the cellphone’s eyes) will be released as the digital memorandum of their last fleeting kiss.
