Matt West - Director & Editor
Award Winning Director and editor Matt West has worked on more that 600 episodes of Television that have been seen in over 100 countries, including the James Beard Award Winning “Fish The Dish”. His series have aired on Gusto TV, Food Network Canada, HGVT, W Network, OLN, Discovery, and TVO. Matt has also directed award winning short films. “The Funeral…Again” and “The Kissing Booth”. One of Canada’s busiest directors, Matt continues to share his passion, dedication and ambition to every production he is associated with.
From cooking fries to kids shows, from high end commercials to artistic short films, Matt has the ability to bring his creative vision to life with stunning imagery, stylish editing and captivating story telling.
Michelle Aseltine - Producer
Michelle is a film Producer and Line Producer based in Toronto, ON. In 2016, she produced her first feature film titled Hellmington, starring Nicola Correia-Damude (Shadowhunters, Burden of Truth) and Michael Ironside (Top Gun, Scanners, Total Recall). Hellmington is set to be released in Cineplex Theatres in 2018. Shortly afterwards, Michelle moved on to Line Producing and Production Managing multiple feature films while running her own Toronto based production company, Blind Luck Pictures.
Michelle's latest projects include Line Producing the feature film The New Romantic, starring Jessica Barden (The End Of The F***ing World, The Lobster), Hayley Law (Riverdale) and Camila Mendes (Riverdale), Line Producer of the feature film Extracurricular, starring Luke Goss (Hellboy II, Blade II) and Keenan Tracey (Bates Motel, Polaroid) and Producer of the web series pilot titled #VitalSignz: The New Adventures of Geriatric Man, starring Justin Kelly (Degrassi, Maps to the Stars) and Munro Chambers (Turbo Kid, Country Crush).
Looking ahead Michelle is currently developing two feature films with her production company Blind Luck Pictures and heading into production on 3 additional films this year.
Lee Hoverd - Screenwriter
Veteran screenwriter Lee Hoverd is an alumni of Norman Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre, where he co-wrote the Genie nominated short film Evelyn: The Cutest Evil Dead Girl with director Brad Peyton. Evelyn went on to win awards at the Houston and Clermont-Ferrand film festivals in addition to securing the Grand Prize and Audience Appreciation prize at Utah's Nodance festival.
Lee was selected by the National Screen Institute to develop his series Membership through the Totally Television program and was recently selected by the National Screen Institute’s Features First program to develop his screenplay Chew.
He is a Shaw Media writer’s award recipient and served on the second season of the WB and CityTV series Seed.
Lee’s screenplay House of Lords is being produced by Timshel Pictures with celebrated director Sean Garrity and acclaimed actor Jonas Chernick, and his TV series Emma MD is being produced by Simon Watts in association with Alibi Entertainment.
Jennifer Vallance - Actor
After 8 years in Ottawa where her love of professional acting in film/TV as well as Theatre was fostered - Jennifer now lives in Toronto, a resident of the Beaches. In 2017, she appeared in 12 Monkeys, Designated Survivor and Taken TV shows as well as Woman in the Bear in a short film I Came Here Alone. She co-produced the play Lavender Railroad at The Box, with her company In The Moment Theatre in which she played The Commander. Jennifer writes every day, currently working on a book and play adaptation and encourages all artists to do the same. Keep working on your passions!
