About the project:
Writer, James Campbell, and Director, Lesley Marshall, got together through working and volunteering at SAW Video and over just wanting to make some videos. When Digi60 came up we thought it would be a great opportunity to make a short piece on a deadline and have fun with some new equipment we had yet to use: ie. shooting using a DSLR, experimenting with lenses and that kind of workflow. Shooting + was a lot of fun, we didn’t have too much time to dedicate to the project but we got some friends together to make it happen. Thanks so much to our Production Coordinator, Emilie Dugas, organizing her first shoot for us, our friend at Carpet Video Productions, Chris Payne, for donating the use of his camera, rentals from SAW Video, and Haute Mama for the baby bump. BUT a huge thanks to Louis Emond, our principle actor, who worked all the way through even after just being hit by car! Hope everyone enjoyed it, and it should be on Masterpiece Theatre or Tales from the Crypt later this year…
